Dr. Ronald E. Hodges Scholarship Fund
DHSF – High School Program
The Dr. Ronald E. Hodges Scholarship Fund (DHSF) was founded and created by Ronald E. Hodges, Ph.D. to recognize and present annual scholarship awards to college-bound graduating high school seniors based upon demonstrated academic achievement, community service, financial need, and an expressed interest in pursuing a business administration, business management or closely related academic major field.
Criteria
Students eligible for assistance must be graduating high school seniors that reside in the local Unified School District, graduate as a senior from a local high school, intend to continue their education at an accredited four-year college evidenced by college acceptance letter(s), and have declared pursuit in business administration, business management, or closely related academic major. Priority consideration may be given to academic achievement, financial need, student’s community service record or applicants from historically underrepresented groups.
DHSF – Salvation Army Program
The Dr. Ronald E. Hodges Scholarship Fund (DHSF), partners with the Salvation Army to transform lives by education, community service, love, and meaningful change in individual lives. The Salvation Army in addition their focus on homelessness, poverty, and addiction provides a number of programs that meet the physical, social and spiritual needs for individual local communities.
Criteria
Since the Dr. Ronald E. Hodges Scholarship Fund (DHSF), partners with one or more Salvation Army locations throughout Texas, scholarship program offerings vary based upon the need the community location.
