About Dr. Ronald E. Hodges
Dr. Ronald E. Hodges, Ph.D. is a recognized accomplished individual, businessman, entrepreneur, educator, and community servant leader serving at in federal, state, and local governments in various capacities. Dr. Hodges has held local elected office, appointed to several government and non-government committees, commissions and organizations.
Dr. Hodges was trained in the financial services industry in corporate and commercial banking achieving the position of Vice President working for several large international financial institutions. Dr. Hodges was called into Federal service by the Small Business Administration and subsequently by the FDIC for his general business and financial expertise during the 2008 nation’s housing crisis in the financial sector.
Dr. Hodges traveled extensively nationally for nearly five years on behalf of the FDIC as a post-closing asset manager responsible for the liquidation management of millions of financial assets resulting from failed financial institutions. Dr. Hodges was featured on NPR’s ‘All Things Considered’ & ‘Planet Money’ in Anatomy Of A Bank Takeover and A Bank Failure, One Year Later.
Dr. Hodges owned, operated, or managed several business operations in the financial services industry in general commercial business, real estate, insurance, financial advisement, and consulting. Dr. Hodges is a Registered Investor Advisor and holds other security industry licenses.
Dr. Hodges held local elected office on a school board Governing Board of Trustees, been appointed to several commissions or committees including but limited to Treasury Oversite Committee, Community Planning Advisory Committee, Board of Adjustments, Parks Foundation Board, Chamber of Commerce, Alumni Board, and many other roles.
Dr. Hodges earned BA, MBA, MAM, JD, Ph.D., and several other post-graduate degrees in Executive Management, Business Administration and in other fields. Now a retired College Business Administration Professor from the California State University System, and business professor instructing business courses for UC Davis, National University, and Phoenix University.
Dr. Hodges remains active in business, education, and community service.
